The software

Screen Text Drop is a local OCR utility provided under the MIT License. You are responsible for confirming that you may capture and process material shown on your screen.

Pro license

A Pro purchase is a one-time license for one user. It unlocks the features described at purchase, including code and table cleanup, Markdown output, and additional bundled language packs. Accessibility, safety, and basic text export remain available without payment.

Payments and refunds

Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. Checkout and eligible refunds are handled by that service. A refunded or charged-back purchase revokes its license token.

No warranty

OCR output may contain errors. Review extracted text before using it in code, legal documents, financial records, or other consequential work. The software is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to violate privacy, intellectual-property, access-control, or other applicable laws. The app does not provide background or covert recording.

Changes

Material changes will be published here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
